Kilimanjaro 2015 – Safari

After both climbs To Meru and Kilimanjaro, we have chosen to relax for four days on a guided safari before fliying back home. We visited Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater.

It was absolutely fantastic. Four days, surrounded by all kind of animals. I have expected masses of other tourists, particularly in Serengeti and Ngorongoro, but in reality we hardly met any other vehicle in parks. This is usually rainy season in northern Tanzania, but rains were late this year and we had quite nice weather during safari. These parks have impressed me so much that I knew it won’t be long before we return there on longer self driving safari.
